Hello everyone!
I wanted to take the time to introduce myself, my name is Gabrielle Hedges.
As the Event Coordinator, I will be overseeing getting the events of the year ready such as our annual conference and A.B. Brooks (to name a few). I will also help to keep the website and our Facebook page up to date.
Some of you may work with me through my other position with the Appalachian Hardwood Training Initiative and Glenville State University. If we haven’t worked together yet, I am looking forward to working with you in this role!
I graduated from Glenville State University with my bachelor’s in Natural Resource Management with a concentration in Forest Technology. I have always enjoyed planning and coordinating events, I got a good start in that area from 4-H and FFA.

I’m excited to be helping out with such a great organization and everything that will come with that such as being on the Outreach Committee, and keeping everyone up to date. I hope to bring a new perspective to the table while still maintaining the core values and purpose of the WVFA.
